Where It All Began

What started as a small workshop in rural Victoria has grown into a respected name in bespoke furniture manufacturing. Our founder, a third-generation woodworker, established this enterprise with a singular focus: to create furniture that outlasts trends and becomes part of family legacies.

We chose to set up our operations in Ballarat not just for its proximity to quality timber sources, but for the community of skilled tradespeople who share our commitment to excellence. Many of our craftsmen have been with us for over a decade, their expertise visible in every dovetail joint and hand-rubbed finish.

What Guides Us

Our principles shape every decision we make, from material selection to final delivery.

Material Integrity

We source timber from certified sustainable forests across Australia. Each board is selected for its grain character and structural soundness, ensuring longevity and beauty.

Design Collaboration

Your input matters at every stage. We listen carefully to understand not just what you want, but how you live, creating pieces that genuinely improve daily routines.

Honest Craft

No shortcuts, no veneers where solid timber belongs, no hidden fasteners that compromise durability. We build furniture the way it was meant to be built.

Our Workshop

Our 1,200 square metre facility houses both traditional hand tools and precision CNC machinery. This combination allows us to achieve tolerances impossible with hand tools alone while preserving the artisanal character that mass production cannot replicate.

We maintain a dedicated finishing room with climate control to ensure consistent results regardless of season. Every piece undergoes multiple quality inspections before leaving our premises.

Timber Conditioning

All materials are kiln-dried and acclimatised in our facility before use.

Precision Machining

CNC technology ensures repeatability for complex joinery and curves.

Our Approach to Sustainability

Environmental responsibility is woven into how we operate, not added as an afterthought.

Certified Timber Sources

We work exclusively with suppliers who can demonstrate sustainable forestry practices. Our primary timber species include Victorian ash, Tasmanian oak, and blackwood sourced from managed plantations.

Waste Reduction

Offcuts are repurposed for smaller projects or donated to local schools for their woodworking programmes. Sawdust and shavings are collected for use in composting and animal bedding.

Low-VOC Finishes

We prioritise water-based finishes and natural oils that minimise off-gassing, creating healthier environments in your home.

Local Employment

By maintaining production in regional Victoria, we support local families and reduce the carbon footprint associated with international shipping.
